Teenagers Internet Usage in Indonesia?

Indonesia is well-known as one of some countries that has Largest Facebook Users. That fact show us that Indonesia has an "internet power" from its people. Especially the Teenagers. Teenager is the time when human being feel curios about something that they interest. In Jakarta, it seems like 99% Teenagers is familiar to this thing. Of course well, in Jakarta we can find "Warnet"(Internet Cafe)in every side of city. Do you want to know further about this?

Well guess what? In interview that we held up about one week ago, Students from Labschool Kebayoran is all internet users. We didn't find any single human being there which is never using the Internet.

In data that we collected, 3 of 4 persons is using First Media, and 1 of 4 person is using Iesnet for the Internet Provider. And you know what? Only 1 of 4 person is paying under 300 thousand IDR for the Internet, and rest of it is paying above the 300 Thousand IDR, of course for a month. That number is quiet showing us that Parents is giving attention for their kids development.

And Teenagers in Indonesia, only 1 of 4 person that surf the Internet under 4 hours, and the rest of it? They spent over than 4 hours spending their time to surf the Internet. That fact also showing us, that currently most of Teenagers in Indonesia, won't spend their time again to play outdoor activities.

What happening right now related that fact, is parents must give a big concern to control their kids in Internet Usage. Dangerous fact again that we collected. 1 of 3 Teenager is open the Restricted Content a.k.a Porn Content when they first time open the Browser Tab. It's quiet hard to believe, but this is the fact. Parents must do something about it, well not just parents, also all of us, if we had enough concern to the Teenagers Development.

The Internet Speed? That's quiet high too. 2 of 3 Teenagers have the Internet Speed Rate above 150 kbps, and only one that have under 150 kbps.

Indonesia is the developing country, that the people is still searcing their identity. Especially the Teenagers. That's the fact, that if we didn't act or maybe just participating with controlling Teenagers Internet usage, than the Internet could be dangerous for Teenager Generation.

Bandung, And What to Do?

This time I want to share tips from a magazine for you who want the road to Bandung the capital of west java. Especially for those who come from out of indonesia, is certainly very useful tips

Ok, now for your safety and comfort of a exploring in Bandung, please note the following tips:
1. If you use public transport, ensure that the vehicle you are riding destination going to Bandung. Not to Surabaya or Yogyakarta.
2. When have arrived at Bandung, do not ever stay at home people who are you don’t know. In the end you will be expelled out 99% (unless you are an artist). Better to look for inn or hotel.
3. If you’re in Bandung and want to use public transportation, make sure the city transportation destination . For example, if you want to go to Dago, do not ever try to ride the bus for Bandung-Surabaya.
4. If you want to buy godds in FO or in Cihampelas make sure you bring cash or credit card, because in those places you should not owe.
5. The last, when about to take a walk in the BSM, BIP, Ciwalk, or other malls, do not ever forget to wear your clothes ……. Do not ever try to embarrass themselves in public.
